While most of her experience has been with sailboats, she is an eager fast learner and her knowledge of the boating industry grows daily. Mike Fauser, WYS
Mike Fauser started sailing in 1974 while he was training at the Seafarer's International Merchant Marine School Piney Point Maryland. In 1980 he began sailing as a Bareboat Skipper in the Virgin Islands where the love of sailing really took hold. He moved to Florida in 1998 to escape the cold winters of the Midwest. In 1999 he received his USCG Captains license and became an ASA instructor. He then managed the Sunsail Tampa Bay Charter operation for a year and moved into yacht sales for Sunsail World Wide. He worked for a local yacht dealer for several years before starting his own yacht brokerage with Sam Sevier in 2004. In 2005 he joined the Island Packet dealer in Florida and has been a Certified Island Packet Salesman for the last 4 years. He is currently the Commodore for the Manatee Sailing Association and a Big Brother. Whiteaker Yacht Sales is very proud to have Mike on their team. William Mayberry, WYS
Whiteaker Yacht Sales is proud to have William Mayberry on our team of yacht brokers. William is a licensed USCG Captain and is very knowledgeable about all types of boats. He has been an avid boater for more than 30 years having owned runabouts, houseboats, power cruisers, and sailboats. He has cruised the Tennessee River system, Gulf Coast, Eastern US Coast, and The Bahamas. He currently lives aboard his Island Packet 37 sailboat with his wife, Judy. He is a former business owner and has extensive knowledge in marketing and customer service. An avid New England Sailor, Kevin Murphy comes to Whiteaker Yacht Sales after a Corporate Telecommunications career in New York and most recently a New Boat Dealership in the CT, RI region. Now residing in Stonington, CT he holds a 100 ton Masters License with numerous Coast Guard endorsements. Someone who believes in complete customer service, Kevin has Sales Professional Certifications from both Hunter and Beneteau. A multiple time new boat owner, he has been on both sides of the sales process and strives to provide customers with a positive experience, one that he would like to receive when dealing with a broker.
Sam Sevier, WYS
Sam Sevier has been a boater for over 30 years, and a licensed yacht broker for the past 4. He comes to us from Florida's Island Packet dealer, where he was a Certified Island Packet Sales Representative. He has owned numerous boats from 30 to 46 feet, including mono-hulls, a catamaran, and powerboats. His cruising grounds have ranged from the lakes and rivers of the midwest to the Chesapeake Bay to the Keys and the Caribbean. He has authored numerous technical articles that have been published in Mainsheet Magazine and Latitudes & Attitudes Magazine. Sam loves to talk about all aspects of boat design and construction. He and his wife Sharon sail their Catalina 42 out of Cape Coral, Florida.
Bob Underwood, WYS
While attending the University of Georgia Bob Underwood bought his first boat, a "Snappy Lateen Rigged" Lockley 12ft board boat from a hardware store in Athens, Georgia. He was hooked! Now 30 years later he has owned everything from trimarans to sportfishermen. He has sailed and raced Lasers on Lake Lanier in Georgia, trimarans in the Bahamas and fished a Grady White sportfisherman from his then home base in Tavenier Key in the Florida Keys. Bob is an active boater and is always looking for his next boat. Let him help you buy or sell your boat and he will work with the same enthusiasm and love of the sport that he has exhibited since his college days. Bob is based in Dataw Island, South Carolina and will specialize in providing service to boaters between Savannah and Charleston.
Jeanelle Phillips, WYS
That pleasant voice you often hear on our phone is our Operations Manager, Jeanelle Phillips. Among many other things Jeanelle has a big hand in the many fine listings you will find on the numerous sites where Whiteaker Yacht Sales advertises.
Jeanelle grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and she has been drawn to the boating life since coming to Florida in 2001. She has been an office manager for many years and before coming to Whiteaker Yacht Sales managed a large 225 slip marina in Bradenton, Florida. Jeanelle lives in Bradenton with her husband, Mike and their two daughters and son.
