Accommodations

An innovative blend of liveaboard comfort and practical cruising features are evident throughout the IP-420, delivering the best accommodations of any yacht in this size range.

Starting forward is a Large Anchor Locker with interior access through an anchor door in the forward head. This locker contains custom shelves for fenders and a separate compartment for spare dock lines.

The Forward Head features a separate shower stall, a deep S/S sink with vanity,  a manual marine toilet, and several lockers, and drawers.

The Master Stateroom is a true delight with the entire beam of the yacht utilized for a grand and inviting retreat. The large island berth is offset from the hull providing easy access from both sides. Two large custom cabinets are located  to port, along with drawers, cabinets, storage bins and a deep hanging locker, the 420 provides ample storage.

Next aft is the Main Salon, this area offers a warm and inviting area to lounge or entertain. The Island Packet's signature bulkhead-mounted fold-up table is easily lowered to make either a small or a large dining area. The starboard settee pulls out to provide a double berth. Behind and under both settees are an immense amount of storage areas.

To starboard is the Navigation Station with a custom drawer and large hinged chart table.

The Galley is conveniently located at the base of the companionway on the starboard side. This area is ideal for the cruising sailor. Its practical U-shaped design, slip resistant molded sole offering secure footing while underway, abundant counter space and tons of storage makes this area  ideal for the cruising sailor.

Across from the galley is the Aft Head with entry from the salon or aft cabin, a shower with a wrap-around curtain, and manual marine toilet.

The Aft Cabin features a large double berth, large cedar-lined locker with custom shelves, numerous drawers and bins, a custom bookshelf and a custom overhead storage bin ideal for fishing rods, boat hooks, gaffs, etc.
