Island Packet 350

The Island Packet 350 is a well-built, dependable, cutter-rigged vessel, made for the cruiser who wishes to sail locally or has their sights on long-distance voyaging. The reasonable 4'3" draft enables you to get to many places that other boats can't go. The ventilation was well thought out, with (3) dorade vents, (5) overhead hatches, and (10) portlights. There is plenty of storage, roomy accommodations, and a performance profile that favors stability, easy sail-handling, and comfort at sea.

Vessel Walkthrough

The layout from bow to stern is as follows:

Forward Stateroom: A large Pullman berth is featured to starboard. There is a separate dressing seat with contoured back support. A large, cedar-lined hanging locker, bureau cabinet, and shelving along the length of the berth, allow for plenty of storage. There is also additional storage beneath the berth. Access to the Anchor Locker is in this cabin, which features a divided compartment for plenty of ground tackle, and the compartment is lighted for easy inspection.

Head: The head is very spacious for a boat of this length. It has a wrap-around counter, lots of cabinets, and a shower with contoured seat and curtain. Private access from the forward cabin, and a separate entrance from the salon.

Main Salon: featuring Island Packet's signature bulkhead-mounted fold-up table. With the table up, the salon becomes a spacious and inviting space for living, relaxing and entertaining. Lowering the table reveals additional storage, which many use as a wine cellar. The starboard settee pulls out to provide a double berth. There are huge storage areas behind and beneath the settees. The nav table shares the aft end of the port settee, and there is storage for this area as well. A separate chart drawer is beneath the starboard settee.

Galley: The U-shaped galley, immediately to the starboard side of the companionway, is very secure for cooking underway. It features double S/S sinks, gimbaled cooktop/oven, and has a large refrigerator/freezer. There is abundant storage for dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and food items. A fold-up counter extension and slide-out trash receptacle are clever design features.

Aft Stateroom: The aft stateroom also has a generous Pullman style berth, which sleeps two comfortably athwartships. A cedar-lined hanging locker, bureau cabinet, shelving, and full length mirror make this area very livable.

Cockpit: Comfortable for sailing or just relaxing. The cockpit seats are ergonomically designed and long enough for sleeping. There are stern rail "catbird" seats to port and starboard. A sugar scoop on the transom for ease of dinghy boarding and swimming. Sail control lines are led aft, making sail trim convenient from the cockpit. Bins located at the forward end of both coamings have hinged tops and provide storage for these lines.
