Accommodations
From the Bow:

Guest stateroom: It’s so nice your guest will never want to leave! Queen berth offset to port with fiddled shelving all around the cabin. Portside cabinet above the berth, chain locker forward and huge locker capability at the foot of the bed. Starboard side bureau with double locker below. Huge butterfly hatch above w/ 4 side hull bronze ports w/ screens. Four drawers under the berth. Hanging locker with integral shelving to starboard.

Guest head: Marble topped vanity with s/s sink, two lockers and two drawers adjacent and a double door cabinet under. Mirrored bulkhead, manual Jabsco head, tub and shower w/ seat, fiddled shelving and even more hullside lockers! Bronze ports in head and shower.

Salon: The magnificent 10’x11’ salon is surrounded by windows on three sides, making it light, bright and airy. Forward to port is the breakfast bar with drop-leaf overlooking the galley and the anchorage. Complete wrap-around counter space forward of the lower helm provides for extensive storage. The helm is to starboard with a dedicated seat w/ wine locker below. Incredible hullside locker storage full length of the salon both port and starboard. Four cushioned wicker chairs provide for comfortable seating whether dining or relaxing. Aft bulkhead has beautiful display cabinetry with fiddled shelves above and a double hinged-leaf stowaway table that easily seats six yet stows to make the large salon even more spacious. Four steps up to the aft deck/steering station.

Master Stateroom: Portside aft in the salon is the teak railed entry to the “you won’t believe it” 15’x13’ master stateroom. Four steps down to enter the private aft cabin through a beautifully carved teak door. Immediately upon entering you are nearly overwhelmed with the amount of teak cabinetry and storage that surrounds the centerline walk-around queen berth. You are immediately drawn to the full size amidships computer desk with swing-away seat, 5 drawers, mirrored bulkhead above and an open cabinet adjacent. The entire port side of the stateroom consists of: a washer/dryer locker, 4 drawer bureau, locker w/ shelves and a double hanging locker. To starboard is the ensuite master bath. Twin hanging lockers complete this wall. The entire walk-around berth has a fiddled teak shelf surround and drawers under, 4 bronze ports, and 3 fixed “pirate” ports are in the aft hull. Large overhead hatch provides ventilation and a safety escape. Berth has a padded headboard that makes reading in bed a joy. The memory foam mattress will lull you to sleep. Night stands with drawers and lockers are found on each side of the berth.  Decorative Tiffany style lamps adorn the aft hullside.

Master Bath: (Too nice to be called a “head”!) Ensuite bath has a tub/shower combo with hullside lockers, mirrored vanity with marble top and S/S sink, mirrored medicine cabinet and a recent Lectra San head (Type 1 MSD).

Deck Helm: Up four steps from the salon through companionway doors, helm is surrounded by a like new Stamoid bimini with tinted strataglass windows and Stamoid windshield covers. Helm has a dedicated seat.

Party Deck: Sports a full enclosure including two wing door panels. Enclosure is of Stamoid material w/ lightly tinted Isinglass. All stainless steel supports have Stamoid covers for “no burn” protection. The overhead is of sea-board and is nicely fitted and provides excellent weather proofing of the aft deck. Aft door takes you to the swim platform ladder and dinghy davits. The swim platform has a swim ladder and can easily be used when the dinghy is in place on the davits. An OB motor mount is located at the swim platform with an OB motor hoist above. A small 110V freezer is mounted on the party deck for “ice cream” socials! Two, 2 place settees and chairs make the aft deck a true “party” deck.

General: Teak doors throughout are beautifully carved. The parquet sole throughout has never “seen a shoe” and is immaculate in condition. The storage on “MORADA” will absolutely astound you! Deep full keel design keeps her exceptionally stable in a sea-way.

Additional Features/Broker's Comments
"MORADA" has been exceptionally well kept by her live-aboard owners for the last 6 years in which time they have extensively cruised the east coast. Her clearance height is adequate for all bridge heights on AMERICA'S GREAT LOOP! She has been kept without regard to cost or effort and you will find all of her systems in fine working order. Her masts and sails were removed due to age, and after all, they were really designed to be a "trawler" weren't they?! In a world where comfort is king, you will find none nicer or more suited to providing you a comfortable, safe and sea-kindly home on the water.

  • Bottom paint removed to gel coat in 2007
  • Blisters repaired, Hull dried out, 3 barrier coats applied, followed by 2 coats of Petit Ultima SR, with a 3rd coat at the waterline
  • Good cruising spares inventory
