Accommodations
Salon
The large Salon area has three entries, one from each side of the helm and a full sized door with a glass window for entry from the aft deck. There is an "L" shaped settee to port and a double wall recliner to starboard. There is a custom built 32" X 49" hi-lo table with a mariners compass in contrasting wood on the top. The table has a drop leaf on two ends and can function as a dinette or coffee table. Two upholstered benches are also included for extra seating at the dinette. A 26" Sharp Aquos LCD TV is mounted on the port side of the salon in a custom teak cabinet. There is additional storage under the settee and located under the walk around deck which is accessible through several door panels. There are large glass windows on all sides of the salon, giving the room an open, airy feeling. These windows all have mini-blinds except for the wing doors which have Sunbrella shades.

Forward in the salon is the electrical control panel, a full size chart table and a full helm station with complete electronics and computer navigation systems. There are wing doors to port and starboard. On the helm overhead, in addition to some of the navigation, electronics, are several Maxim brass weather instruments including; wind speed, temperature, tides and barometer. Navigation is done with the Captains software which includes all U.S. charts. This software is linked to the GPS and autopilot allowing for full navigational control.

The galley is located aft and open to the salon area. The galley includes a built-in microwave, 3 burner Princess Propane cook top and oven, a full height pantry, two lower cabinets and 5 upper cabinets. On the starboard side aft are two Norcold refrigerators.

Aft Stateroom
The aft stateroom is located down a few steps and aft from the salon. There is a centerline queen berth that has a new (2007) mattress. There are four drawers for storage under the berth and nightstands with two drawers on either side. The portside includes two large hanging lockers and a vanity with mirrors and three drawers. Also on the starboard side is the laundry room with storage and a full size separate washer and dryer. The walls are teak with parquet wood floors.
There are 6 stainless steel portholes in the aft stateroom as well as 2 large port holes over the berth that double as escape hatches.

The head has a VacuFlush toilet, integral sink and countertop, walk in shower with a glass door, medicine cabinet, stainless steel porthole, blower and a mirror over the sink. The trim in the head is teak with laminate walls for easy maintenance. DC and AC lighting and AC outlets are also located in the head.

Forward Stateroom
The forward stateroom is accessible from the salon down a few steps. The V-berth comfortably accommodates two adults and includes bulk storage underneath. There are two lockers (one hanging) on the portside. There is a large porthole overhead of the berth and 6 small stainless steel portholes. To starboard is the head/shower combination. The head includes a VacuFlush toilet, integral sink and countertop, medicine cabinet, wall mounted mirror, stainless steel porthole, blower and over and under the sink storage. The floor has a teak grate for use as a shower. The forward stateroom and head has DC lighting and AC electrical outlets conveniently located throughout the space.

Engine Room
The stand up engine room is accessible through a door on the aft wall of the forward stateroom. All electrical and mechanical equipment is easily accessible for inspection and Maintenance. There is a worktable and ample storage for spares. Lighting is both AC and DC and there are two ventilation blowers. The DeFever yacht also includes a sea chest for all raw water intake (engines, a/c, generator), a feature normally only found on larger yachts.

Aft Deck and Cockpit
The aft deck has a hard top cover, a 36’ round teak table and 4 teak folding chairs. There is also a cold water sink, fresh water hose connection and a U-line icemaker in a cabinet under the sink. There is a pass thru window from the galley making outdoor dining easy. There are two Sunbrella shades that can easily be attached to the hard top to provide more than adequate shade. The boarding ladder is also stowed on the aft deck.
Down a few steps from the aft deck is the cockpit. The cockpit makes boarding from floating docks easy through a door on the transom. This is also a great place to fish from while cruising. There is under stair storage, a dock box and storage accessible through a hatch in the lazarette. There is also a swim platform and swim ladder. The swim platform and transom door makes boarding the dinghy easy.

Flybridge
The flybridge is almost the same size as the salon and is enclosed on three sides with Strataglass zip open panels. The bimini top and Strataglass were new in 2008. The helm chair is centerline with two bench seating areas to port and starboard. The helm chair from the lower helm can be mounted either at the lower station or on the port bench seat. There are large bench seats to port and starboard which can double as day beds or as a watch bed when cruising overnight. The flybridge also includes a full size Frigid Rigid freezer.
