Accommodations
Luxury is the word that comes to mind when describing Amanda Maria's interior. The woodwork in the salon, cabins, galley, and chart table area is beautiful "Moabi" wood and the sole is a nice laminated "parquet look" finish.
Beginning forward is the very comfortable Owner's Cabin with 6'4" of headroom, double island berth with high density foam mattress for superior comfort. Ample storage with large drawer under berth, locker to port with clothes locker under hanging section, hanging locker, two high closed shelves on either side of the berth, and dressing table with mirror and locker. There is a large opening hatch with Oceanair screen/shade, two fixed ports with curtains, three halogen lights, three reading lights, and one 110 volt outlet.
The forward head is accessed through the forecabin only for privacy and is constructed of one moulded compartment for watertightness and easy maintenance. It features a separate shower with plexiglass door, electric head, vanity w/washbasin and hot/cold water, mirror, and locker underneath with waste bin and toilet paper holder. Another locker with closed shelf above. Three halogen overhead lights and deck hatch with Oceanair screen/shade.
Next is the spacious and airy salon. The forward facing chart table is starboard and features a lid and molded wood fiddle, two hinged lockers for small items, drawer and closed locker with shelves under the table, closed shelf, leather trimmed s/s handrail, and 12 V/ 110 V electrical panel. Comfortable navigator's seat with locker containing battery charger. To starboard is a 2-seater settee with pivoting central armrest, two closed stowage units, two closed shelves along the hull, shelf with s/s fiddle and bar unit between bulkhead and settee. To port is a large u-shaped dining table/settee with 4 cushions. Stowage under the settee, two movable seats, and pivoting salon table with folding leaf on aluminum supports. The 32" Sony Bravia TV is hidden between the forward bulkhead and the settee backrest and rises with the touch of a button. There are two 110V outlets, panoramic window with folding blinds, 2 hull ports w/curtains, 1 opening hatch with screen, 2 opening deck hatches with Oceanair screen/shades, and 2 fixed side windows to port. There are 5 halogen overhead lights, mood lighting under shelves, and two more halogen overhead lights at the companionway. The companionway is wood with non-slip steps, four s/s handrails and is removable with gas strut access to the engine compartment.
The galley is to port and is described in more detail below.
The aft stateroom is also very well appointed and very large. It features an offset double berth and tons of storage including two large hanging lockers and abundant ventilation and lighting. The aft head is also a one piece compartment with separate shower, electric head, vanity w/basin with locker beneath, and two closed lockers. One fixed window w/curtain, one opening port, and three overhead lights.
Linens and most household items will remain on the boat.
