Accommodations
The interior of "Free N Clear" is finished in classic mahogany wood, with the overhead painted white. All ports and windows are equipped with Bali Venetian blinds and are covered with window tinting. There are six Caframo fans located throughout the boat. Interior lighting is all 12 volt. Each cabin exudes a warm and cozy atmosphere and each area, including the fully enclosed cockpit, immediately puts you "at ease" in the very best home-like manner.
Guest Stateroom: Large double berth with center insert, privacy door and ensuite head door, 10 lockers (yes 10!), hanging locker, 3 opening ports and an overhead hatch. Air conditioned of course.
Salon: L-shaped port settee converts to a double if needed. It also houses the electric piano keyboard (mounted outboard) I’m not kidding when I say she has all the comforts of home! The bulkhead mounted table with integral storage, provides ample space for dining for six and yet stows easily making for a spacious salon. Beautiful cabinetry is found hullside. Across to starboard are two leather swivel chairs and a built-in wall unit that houses the liquor cabinet with folding table, book shelves, and 16 lockers and drawers. The entire salon looks as if it has been taken from an English club – elegant yet comfortable. 4 Opening ports and an overhead hatch allows for ample ventilation when not running the A/C.
Nav Station: Well laid out with a flip-top chart table, dedicated nav seat w/ integral storage, hullside lockers, and ships bell.
Pass through to Master Stateroom: Every cruising boat should be so well laid out for the work that must be done. This area provides work shop space, hullside storage, under counter storage, and houses the electrical panels and controls. Directly adjacent is the double doored entry to the engine compartment, generator and watermaker.
Master Stateroom: Athwartship queen size berth with hand crafted custom mattress, 5 opening ports, companionway to the cockpit, 2 hanging lockers, under berth storage, A/C and heat, and the ensuite head, vanity & shower.
Fore and Aft Heads: Lavac toilets, 35 gallon holding tank with manual pumpout, deck pumpout or y-valved overboard. One opening port in each head along with solar vents. Shower sumps with on/off/auto switch. Shower curtains for water containment, ample lockers in each head along with mirrors.
General: You would be hard presses to find a 42’ boat with more storage. Everywhere you look there is another locker and the fit and finish throughout is furniture grade.
