Broker Comments
Fire Fly is a boat meant for someone who is looking for a bargain and is not afraid of investing some ???sweat equity???. If you look for boats in this price range you usually will be looking at much smaller boats (for example, no standing headroom etc.). The ODay 34 is a very popular cruiser for weekending or vacation trips of a few weeks. She is a known quantity with many of them still cruising today.
Cosmetically she needs a little attention but without too much work she could really be a nice cruiser with not a lot of money invested. Her newer 2002 engine with only 287 hours is that big ticket item everyone is afraid of having to replace in bargain boats. With Fire Fly that big ticket item is already taken care of for you. If you just want to go sailing and are not worried about the cosmetics then Fire Fly is ready to go now. Most would want to buy her at this bargain price and put a little more into her and end up with a really nice cruiser.
