Accommodations
The accommodations aboard this Catalina 400 are the most comfortable in her class. Starting aft, her MASTER STATEROOM has a centerline island queen berth with dressing settees to each side, innerspring mattress with custom fitted linens, incredible storage capacity (cedar lined), and excellent ventilation. There is a PRIVATE ENSUITE HEAD with Corian counter, s/s polished sink, electric head, and a separate stall shower with enclosure. Forward to starboard is the GALLEY which is unparalleled in a 40 footer. Molded countertops, front and top loading ref/freezer, propane stove w/ stainless steel Broan range hood and ample storage to please the most discerning of galley chefs.
To port is the dedicated NAV STATION w/ chart table, comfortable swing out chair and plenty of room for all your electronic and electrical needs.
Just forward is the MAIN SALON with varnished woods, soft ultra leather fabrics in an attractive off-white shade, and subtle lighting that creates an atmosphere of cozy luxury. There is a spacious settee to port with locker storage above and additional storage under and behind. Across to starboard is an inviting place to lounge with deep, comfortable seating and a large teak dining table that easily seats six and converts to a double berth if needed. Again, storage abounds with hull side lockers and storage under and behind the seating.
Forward you'll find the ultimate in GUEST ACCOMODATIONS with a spacious v-berth, innerspring mattress, hull side shelving with storage containers, large hanging locker and ENSUITE HEAD w/ a vanity & shower.
Throughout, the beautiful teak & holly sole has always been carefully protected with area rugs. The storage capability of this boat will amaze you... Room for 15 cases of beer in the bilges alone during the last Bahamas cruise!
The COCKPIT features a large central cockpit table that easily accommodates the entire crew for dining. Secure handrails , foot braces, and integrated fore and aft instrument clusters are provided. Twin wheels provide the helmsman with comfort and visibility regardless of the tack and makes moving around in the cockpit a pleasure. The davit system is high and out of the way and does not require the dinghy to be deployed to use the swim platform and ladder.

Broker's Comments
The owners of "Solitude" have done an outstanding job of creating an incredible cruising boat. She was outfitted to spend months on the 'hook' and is capable of doing so. Due to her well thought out electrical systems, fuel systems, and water maker she has provided her current owner with months of pleasurable, trouble free cruising in the Bahamas and the Keys. On top of all this, Solitude is impeccably maintained and continuously upgraded.
If you're thinking 'Caribbean Cruising' then you should be planning to see this pristine Catalina 400. Prepare to be impressed!
