Accommodations
In terms of accomodations, no boat of comparable size comes close to the Caliber 40LRC. Her sleeping quarters are true staterooms, expansive and private. Instead of a hard-to-negotiate V-Berth, there's a full forward Owner's Stateroom with a spacious pullman style double plus berth with ample storage space and drawers below; shelf and book rack over; a mirrored vanity and dressing seat with a clothes hamper under; and a voluminous cedar lined hanging locker with shelf storage. The master cabin features a private, spacious head with its own separate shower stall enclosed by a plexiglass door. Together, the master stateroom and bath offer luxurious livability for extended stays onboard.
Idential comfort and convenience is provided in the Aft Stateroom with its double berth; large cedar lined hanging locker; and private aft head entrance.
The Main Salon is richly furnished in teak offering cozy surroundings in a well maintained space. It takes full advantage of the 6'5" headroom and a wide beam. The result is a "living room" that is perfect for entertaining of just putting your feet up to listen to some tunes. Two settees offer ample seating and one even converts to a double berth should you need the extra accomodations. Both settees have storage under and behind and teak cabinetry over. The twin leaf dining table folds up to the bulkhead for additional space.
The aft head to starboard is conveniently located to the cockpit. It's entrances from the guest cabin and the salon make it accessible from either area without disturbing the other occupants. Both heads are completely outfitted with pressure H/C water and showers.
The Nav Station is to port aft of the galley and features a chart table with hinged lid; chart light; electronics cabinet; breaker panel; nav seat with storage under.
