Walk Through
The interior layout of Lucky Duck is a cruiser's dream. Blue Alcantara Fabric punctuates the beautiful teak joinery work. Descending four stairs takes you into the pilothouse. It consists of a beautiful oval table and horseshoe settee on the port side and a very nice inside helm station with extra large navigation table and full instrumentation. Inside piloting is a breeze and close at hand are fuel, water, and engine gauges along with the breaker panel, interior engine start and stop, and generator start and stop. There is plenty of stowage underneath and outboard of this area. You are practically surrounded by glass with large windows at eye level for fantastic visibility plus a light and airy spaciousness. There are full curtains inside for privacy and Textilene exterior curtains on the forward pilothouse windows. A new flat-screen TV is positioned for comfortable viewing.
Going down the starboard side takes you into the aft stateroom. The term "stateroom" really applies here. With the raised aft deck, there is plenty of headroom, and the reverse transom results in a very spacious area. Here you'll find very nice cabinetry, dressing table, and a roomy and comfortable centerline queen berth that can be entered from either side. The storage in this area is beyond belief. Four huge lockers which can be used as hanging lockers, 10 storage areas with doors and five open storage areas. To the rear of the stateroom are two windows in the transom giving a feeling of depth. Five opening windows provide light and ventilation.
The ensuite aft head is accessible from the stateroom and is probably one of the largest you'll ever see on a boat of this size. This is truly more like a home bathroom than a boat head. Completely equipped including a separate shower with seat, electric fresh-water head, great storage and a tile floor.
Going forward from the pilothouse you step down into the galley finished with Corian counters making for a very nice work area so the chef can work without being bothered by anyone wanting to go forward. The galley is very well equipped with propane stove w/oven, double S/S sink, large refrigerator, and microwave. There is also a freezer in the pilothouse area. There is lots of galleyware storage. The galleyware will convey with the boat. Across from the galley is a lower salon area with small table and comfortable horseshoe seating. There is storage behind which includes a liquor cabinet with leaded glass door. Custom shelving has been factory added for the owner.
Forward is the guest stateroom with a V-berth and an upper berth on the port side that converts into extra storage. Generous storage below the bunks and numerous lockers. There is a full length hanging locker. A hatch provides ventilation and natural light. There are reading lights at the bunks and an additional light on the bulkhead. The Spectra Watermaker is installed under the portside of the bunk.
Located aft of the guest stateroom is the guest head with wash basin, handheld shower, marine (raw water) toilet and storage behind and underneath of basin. The interior is finished in a white laminate on the walls and Nauticat's signature tile floor. There is an overhead hatch for ventilation.

Deck/Hull
Hull is hand laminated fiberglass with mat and woven roving. The longitudinal stringers, engine beds and transverse floor bearers help stiffen the hull. All main bulkheads and other structural panels are bonded to the hull where appropriate. The engine bed has a steel plate for securing the engine mounts. The keel is lead and secured by stainless steel bolts with internal backing plates.
The deck and superstructure are a one-piece moulding constructed entirely of hand laminated fiberglass. All windows are of tough safety glass mounted in alloy frames. The guard rail surrounding the boat is beautiful varnished teak. The bowsprit has twin anchor rollers and there is additional line storage under the stern step.
Lucky Duck's hull is a beautiful navy blue Awlgrip finish done in 2008.
