Accommodations
The IP45's accomodations are focused on both extended cruising and a comfortable lifestyle when living aboard. The two large double staterooms are well separated for privacy, each with it's own head and shower. Expansive central living area provide a gracious setting for entertaining or cruising with family and friends. Forward is the owner's stateroom which spans the entire beam. It has a large offset double berth, bureau with generous storage bins, cedar-lined hanging locker, and deep storage drawers. The forward head has a large wrap-around countertop with stainless steel oval sink, large teak shower seat, and separate vanity table with hinged top storage. The salon has full length settees on both sides. There are bookshelfs and cabinets outboard of both with lots of room for audio and video gear. The salon features a large fold-down dining table. A teak bottle and glass rack is revealed when the table is lowered. Custom overhead teak storage racks for charts and fishing rods are a nice addition. The spacious aft stateroom has three opening ports and an overhead hatch for great ventilation. It features a large double berth, cedar lined bureau and hanging locker, and a dressing seat. The roomy aft head can be accessed from both the salon and the aft stateroom. It has a wrap-around vanity and teak shower seat. All ports are screened and feature custom shades. All hatches are fitted with Sunbrella sun shades. Screens are also provided for all dorades and the companionway.

Galley
The Island Packet 45's U-shaped galley is roomy yet safe while underway. The galley is convenient to both salon and cockpit yet out of the way of interior traffic. It wraps around to aft and starboard. It has a large well insulated refrigerator with separate freezer, microwave oven, and a gimballed 3-burner propane stove and oven with storage below. Double stainless steel sinks and hot and cold pressure water, retractable spray unit, manual fresh water hand pump, manual salt water foot pump, roll-away trash bin, teak paper towel holder, and deluxe teak dish rack and cutlery drawers. A custom teak spice rack has also been added.
