Accommodations
Starting forward, there is a very large anchor/storage locker where the anchor chain, fenders and anchors are stored. Underneath is a holding tank for the forward head. The holding tank is plumbed with a Y-valve that can be easily adjusted to pump into the tank or directly overboard where permitted. This entire section forms a watertight bulkhead, a very important saftey consideration.
Next aft is the forward head. The shower has a Plexiglass door that separates the stall shower from the wash basin and the toilet. Both the shower and the sink have hot and cold pressure water. There is an ample amount of storage for towels and bathroom supplies
Next aft is the owner's stateroom. It has a queen-size pullman-style berth to port, generous shelving and lockers outboard, 3 drawers and 2 lockers with shelves under the berth. Under the mattress is a very large storage area. There is a bulkhead mounted fan at the foot of the bed and two ceiling mounted reading lamps over the head of the bed. To starboard is a large cedar-lined hanging locker and a vanity table with mirror and a swing out seat. Behind the vanity mirror is a cabinet with two large shelves for storage.
The main salon is next aft and offers spacious accomodations with a unique bulkhead-mounted fold-up twin-leaf dining table with storage behind for bottles and glasses. The L-shaped settee to port converts to a 6'6" queen-size berth. To starboard is a 6' long settee. There is plenty of storage available in this area including bins behind and beneath the settees. The salon is well lit and well ventilated with hatches, ports and lights.
Aft of the main salon and to port is the L-shaped galley. There are two deep stainless steel sinks, large refrigerator/freezer, 2-burner LPG stove with oven/broiler. There is ample storage for all kitchen utensils, many drawers and bins, storage under the stove and under the sink for pots, pans, and cleaning supplies. A microwave oven is conveniently located over the stove.
Aft of the galley to port is the nav station and electrical panel. Here also are the solenoids for the windlass and stove. The chart table is hinged and has storage space beneath. The nav station seat also provides storage under the cushion.
To starboard is the aft head, very convenient for guests and close to the cockpit.
Aft of the head is the guest cabin with a large berth and a spacious hanging locker. This cabin is very comfortable with an A/C vent and two ports, and has a private entrance to the aft head.
The cockpit is large but not too large for offshore sailing. It is well protected by a dodger and bimini. All five of the dodger panels can be installed or removed seperately. There is a large lazarette under the port cockpit seat with plenty of storage room plus access to the engine (the engine is also accessed from the main cabin) and batteries. There are two smaller lockers under the aft cockpit seat, one for storage and one for the LPG tanks. All halyards, reefing lines and furling lines lead to the cockpit. Custom cushions and a folding table add to the comfort and enjoyment of time spent in the cockpit.
