Accommodations
This Morgan 41 has a two stateroom layout. It sleeps four very comfortably and has 6'6" of headroom. The interior finish is primarily with teak veneers over plywood on bulkheads and built-in furniture, teak hardwood doors, drawers, fiddles, ladder, and trim. Gelcoated FRP headliner, gelcoated FRP surfaces, Formica surfaces, vinyl covered surfaces, and painted surfaces. Teak and holly main cabin sole. Upholstered cushions, 12 volt light fixtures, and 110 volt receptacles where appropriate throughout.
Forward Stateroom has a comfortable V-berth. There is stowage underneath. The holding tank is also located under the v-berth. There is chain locker access forward. There are shelves outboard on both port and starboard and hanging locker to port aft outboard. The entry door is aft to starboard.
Forward Head is to starboard and has a counter top mounted wash basin, lockers and a Raritan manual marine toilet with Y-valve selection for overboard or holding tank discharge. The 26 gallon holding tank with macerator pump is located under the forward berth. The shower has a Par 3.5 gpm 12volt diaphragm drain pump. There are doors to the stateroom and main cabin inboard.
Main Cabin amidships has two swivel chairs with table between to port and U-shaped dinettee/settee to starboard, storage below and outboard of each, lockers and shelves above and outboard of each, dropleaf centerline table.
Galley is aft to starboard in main cabin. It has a double stainless steel sink, a top-loading insulated ice box with both an Adler-Barbour Cold Machine and Sea Frost holding plate refrigeration. The stove is a Seaward 2-burner propane with oven. Propane storage is one steel cylinder in a dedicated locker in the cockpit. The propane system is equipped with a 12V safety solenoid. The companionway ladder is offset to port of centerline, inboard aft of the galley.
Navigation Station is in the main cabin aft of the port settee and has an opening chart table, electronics, drawers, and seat with storage bin below.
Passageway to the aft cabin has an enclosed water tank with countertop over it outboard, storage, ship's electrical panel, and engine room access inboard.
Engine Room below the center cockpit houses the propulsion engine, batteries, fuel & water tanks, electrical junction boxes, pumps, seacocks, and other mechanical components.
Aft Stateroom has a full width comfortable berth with lots of bin and drawer storage underneath. Holding tank and steering gear are below. Lockers are outboard to port. Door to aft head compartment is starboard forward and entry door is port forward.
Aft Head is to starboard. It has a countertop mounted wash basin, lockers and Jabsco manual marine toilet with Y-valve selection for overboard or holding tank discharge. There is a 21 gallon plastic holding tank under the aft berth with newly installed macerator pump. Shower with Par 3.5 gpm diaphragm drain pump. The door to the stateroom is aft.
