Accommodations
Down below Rejoice is warm and inviting but also light and airy with six opening ports and four deck hatches, all screened.
Beginning in the bow you'll find a large double V-berth in the forward cabin. Abundant storage is available with a cedar lined hanging locker and drawers as well as storage beneath the cushions. Custom canvas storage bins for clothing were added to each side of the berth. There is also a changing seat and vanity sink with mirror and hot/cold pressure water.
Next is the main salon which features a convertible L-shaped settee on port and a straight settee to starboard. The settee cushions are beautifully upholstered and look brand new. A bulkhead mounted teak dining table with leaves can be enjoyed from both sides and can be folded and stowed out of the way on the bulkhead when not in use. There is abundant storage outboard and beneath the settees.
Continuing aft to port you find the well laid out L-shaped galley with all the luxuries of home including propane stove/oven, double stainless steel sink, and refrigeration. The galley is nicely located at the base of the companionway steps for easy transfer of food to crew in the cockpit.
Opposite the galley is an aft facing nav station with chart table and chart storage, electronics display, and breaker panel for the AC/DC electrical systems.
Next to port is a roomy private aft cabin. Two can sleep comfortably in a large double berth and there is ample storage with a full size hanging locker and further storage below the bunk.
Finally aft to starboard is the large roomy head which features a marine toliet, stand up shower, vanity with sink and hot/cold pressure water, and ample locker and cabinet storage. There is also a cold water foot pump at the sink. For safety, there are smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors in the forward cabin, main salon/galley, and aft cabin.
