Accommodations
Kartoon has a 2-Cabin Layout with 6'3" of headroom. She sleeps 4 plus one at the dinette and one on the settee. There is an abundance of storage throughout the boat.
She has an unusual layout down below. Stepping down through the companionway your are in the quarter berth area with the chart table and instrument panel to port. Ahead of that and to port is one of two doors to the head. To starboard is a pass-through which leads to the galley with double sink to port and a large refrigerator/freezer and stove w/oven to starboard.
There is a small step down into the main salon with fold-up table and two settees. One of the settees folds out into a double bed. The salon has access to it's own head and topside.
Forward is a roomy V-berth with large hanging locker.
The quarter berth area can be closed off into a private cabin and it also has it's own access to the head and topside. This offers a nice privacy arrangement for cruising families or couples.
The engine is centrally mounted under the sink and has access panels on all four sides for ease of maintenance and repair.
- Interior upholstery redone in 2001 and still in nice condition.
