Accommodations
The Kelly Peterson 44 layout is very accommodating for cruising or living aboard. Starting forward is a traditional V-Berth with hanging locker, standing space and an enclosed full head & shower. The salon features a straight settee to starboard and on port. The main cabin dinette has been raised 10" to add more storage underneath and to allow visibility from the table while seated. Moving aft you come to the U-shaped Galley to port with two refrigeration boxes, a stove, microwave, and double stainless steel sinks close to the centerline. Across from the galley to starboard is an updated nice nav station featuring a forward facing chart table and electronics station. The passageway to the aft cabin is directly behind the nav station and includes storage on the starboard side for batteries, tools, and spare sails. The engine room is to port. The master stateroom is aft and has a full queen berth, good size hanging locker, and private head & shower Additional access to aft stateroom is through second companionway. You'll find voluminous storage throughout. Great climate control either via ventilation with three hatches, five dorades, and nineteen ports or by using the reverse cycle A/C throughout.
