Accommodations
Snuggle Up sleeps four in two staterooms and has 6'3" of headroom.
The interior of the Watkins 36 is a tri-cabin layout with an aft stateroom extending under the cockpit, a salon amidships and a forward stateroom. Separating the aft stateroom and the salon is the engine compartment "island" with a galley on the starboard side and a head compartment on the port side. Galley & head are both accessible from the aft stateroom as well as the salong. Access to the cabin is afforded by three hatches: Main companionway hatch, a cabin top hatch leading into the salon, and the forecastle sail hatch.
The salon features a mammoth dropleaf table that will seat seven. Dark green upholstery compliments the beautiful high gloss teak & holly sole inserts (truly beautiful), coupled with the polished stainless steel ports, you have a very striking interior. The salon is pleasantly bright & airy.
The master stateroom forward has a custom foam mattress, hullside lockers as well as under berth bins plus a double shelf cabinet.
Aft of the salon, from port to starboard is the head compartment, engine compartment, and the galley.
The galley is partly over the engine compartment with a 4-burner propane stove/oven. Outboard in the galley are the refrigerator, sink, and ample hullside storage.
The aft stateroom has full headroom at its forward end but loses its height as it occupies the space under the cockpit.
At the forward end of the starboard berth is a deep hanging locker. Head is ample with vanity, storage, head, & shower. You'll find newer faucets & hardware throughout.
