Accommodations "Swept Away" comes with a raised helm deck with a new hardtop, full enclosure, and teak & holly sole. The helm is on the centerline. All of the engine controls, steering, and electronics are all easy to handle. There is ample comfortable seating here. The side decks are of ample width allowing easy access forward to the clean and neat foredeck or aft to the cockpit. The interior has a guest cabin with V Berths full forward, ample storage and an ensuite head & vanity aft to starboard. Opposite is a large storage pantry with a Bosch state-of-the-art full size washer & dryer beneath. Next aft is the galley to port with all new appliances. Dinette is opposite to starboard. The salon is located on the raised interior deck which is over the generator room which provides voluminous storage space (think attic!) The salon is comfortable with lounge chairs to port and a very nice entertainment center. Electrical panels are to starboard. The aft master cabin has port and starboard twin berths w/ensuite head, vanity, and shower aft. The overall interior design gives a sense of tranquility and coziness without feeling cramped. We have not pointed out everything that is new simply because almost everything is new!

"Swept Away's Story"
Swept Away was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1953. In the early 70's she was returned to the Huckins factory in Jacksonville where her hull and keel were refurbished then the ENTIRE HULL was wrapped in epoxy and fiberglass. In 2005 the ENTIRE DECK was done in west system epoxy (bi-axial glass)and her rub rail was replaced with white oak and a new toe rail was installed. You will find no separations and no blisters on Swept Away. Her glass work and paint are impeccable. Her bilges are clean and dry. Additional floor supports were added for upgraded appliances and fixtures. All windows were custom made and installed in 2006 and NEW glass in all ports. EVERYTHING (and I do mean everything) has been engineered accessible. Secondary fuel tank (150 gal) is pumped to main tank through a Racor Filter. All manuals and schematics for systems are onboard. There is a very good spares inventory. A January, 2007 survey is available to any "seriously" interested party. "Swept Away" was totally refitted from 2005 until the present. We have not bothered to mention everything that is new because almost everything is new or restored inside and out. Her "classic" looks belie her thoroughly comtemporary liveability. Do you have a yearning to return to the simpler life of yesteryear while enjoying modern conveniences; then take a look at this timeless classic beauty that has been completely restored. She would be perfect for a full-time live aboard or as a vacation home.
"Swept Away" is waiting for YOU to continue her story.
Swept Away's knowledgeable and accomplished owners of 21 years welcome seriously interested parties aboard with a smile and offer a ton of knowledge in the process. They kindly request as much notice as possible to view the boat.
